| Intro Bio | Hello, I’m Heather Turner! A trauma-informed somatic practitioner, mother of two, and guide for women (especially mothers) who are ready to reconnect with their bodies and feel alive again. My journey into this work wasn’t linear. It was shaped through years of moving through disconnection, survival patterns, and the quiet ache of knowing there was more to feel in this life. Motherhood became a turning point for me. It revealed just how much I had learned to manage myself instead of truly feel myself. I realized that so much of what we’re taught, especially in wellness and self-care culture, doesn’t actually support the nervous system in a sustainable way. We’re told to breathe, think positively, or push through… but without safety in the body, those tools only go so far. That’s what brought me here. My work is centered around helping women build that sense of safety within themselves, so they can feel, process, and come back into relationship with their bodies in a real, lasting way. Through 1:1 sessions, group experiences, and movement-based practices, I weave together somatic work, intuitive movement, sound, and nervous system education. This isn’t about fixing or forcing change, it’s about creating the conditions where your body can begin to open, soften, and guide you back to yourself. I’m here because I believe women deserve to feel nourished, resourced, and fully expressed….not just for everyone else, but for themselves.
And I’m honored to be part of a space like this, where that kind of work is valued. |

| Past Reviews | “My somatic sessions with Heather have been truly transformative. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, grounded, and deeply supported. Each session helped me release anxiety, regulate my nervous system, and understand myself in new ways. I learned practical tools I now use in daily life, and I’ve experienced emotional breakthroughs that once felt impossible. Heather carries a wisdom that creates profound change. I leave each session feeling lighter, freer, and more at home in my body. I look forward to continuing this powerful healing journey with her.” Image, 50 |

“For many decades, I have tried a multitude of avenues to help quiet my inner chatter – talk therapy, meditation, yoga, even singing. Most provided some kind of insight, but eventually the chatter returned. Heather’s somatic therapy combines all of the above plus movement (which is and always has been part of my growing coping skillset), With her keen observations and guidance, I have found ways to understand and feel what’s really hiding in my body and how it affects my mental health and often runaway emotions. As a result, I am practicing more compassion with myself. Even after the first of my three sessions (all virtual), I am able now to use the knowledge she shared to find clarity and calm. I can only imagine how powerful her in-person sessions are! I will continue trusting in Heather for continued direction to stronger awareness, self-empowerment, and peace.” – Seran, 68 |

“Heather is compassionate and intuitive. She guided me through yoga and breathing exercises to lower my anxiety and helped me address the deep grief I have been struggling with over the loss of my oldest child to cancer. Her meditation room is airy and full of light, aiding in the calming process, and she is just a wonderful human being. I highly recommend seeing Heather to help you through life’s tough challenges and navigate difficult passages. She is very supportive and responsive. Thank you, Heather, from the bottom of my heart.” Cheryl, 74 |
| Past Reviews | “I first have to say I’m completely new to somatic healing. But I was open and willing to try something new to see what would present itself. Our first somatic session was incredibly generous. Open heart, open arms and nonjudgmental. For someone used to having control it was a safe space to experience not knowing what was happening and Heather was incredibly patient. I can be impatient and it’s interesting because this is sort of slow, thoughtful, deliberate work. So a lot of it I forget, but then at moments I remember a little piece about breathing or about centering or taking a second to acknowledge what I’m feeling and where and just that little bit kind of helps slow the train for a minute and gives me a chance to adjust or absorb in a way that’s not just reactive. I feel like even moments of that are more than I was doing before I was introduced to this type of somatic work. All three sessions were very different and helped me to understand possible ways of dealing with life‘s stresses and whatever traumas I am having in the moment. The breathing techniques were very helpful, the communication was extremely helpful and again the open heart that Heather led with. In the third session we explored some movement which was quite freeing. I do understand that this process is a slow evolution but as I said before, even little pieces of information are slowly clicking in to place and are able to be used daily. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done and it’s very gentle. I’m so appreciative of Heather‘s guidance and insight and her gentle way of helping me to identify where in my body things are activated and then beginning to give me the tools to address it, acknowledge it and accept it.” Wendy, 52

| Past Reviews | “I’ve had a great experience with Heather, and I highly recommend her to anyone that is curious about somatic healing and/or struggles with anxiety. I wasn’t sure what to expect on my first session, but Heather immediately made me feel calm and present. Talking about what I am experiencing mentally at the top of each session helps to guide us through the experience and allows me time to connect my brain and body. Since our sessions, I have more tools to navigate my anxiety and am able to be more present and mindful. I feel relief after each session, and that is something everyone deserves. It feels like a full body massage without the actual massage!” Zoe, 30 |
