Healing doesn’t need to be boring, right? 😏

We can spend years trying to “fix” ourselves.

      Overthinking? Fix it.
      People-pleasing? Stop it.
      Procrastinating? Get disciplined.
      Anxiety? Calm down.
      Irritability? Work on yourself.
      Self-criticism? Love yourself more.

And suddenly… healing has become another job. 🤓

But what if these behaviors aren’t character flaws?
What if they are old survival strategies that once made perfect sense?
Maybe procrastination is protecting you from failure.
Maybe perfectionism is protecting you from judgment.
Maybe overthinking is trying to manufacture certainty.
Maybe resentment is pointing toward a need you haven’t voiced.
Maybe anxiety is an emotion that never got enough space to move through.

Instead of asking: “How do I get rid of this?”
Try asking: “What is this trying to tell me?”
That little question can open a very different door.

      And here’s the fun part:
Healing doesn’t have to mean becoming a permanently serene human who drinks green juice and never gets triggered. 🌱
You can heal and still roll your eyes.
You can regulate your nervous system and still have opinions.
You can become more aware and still occasionally lose your keys while they’re in your hand.
The goal isn’t to become someone who never gets activated.
It’s to become someone who notices sooner, feels more deeply, recovers faster, and chooses differently.

Less fighting yourself. More understanding yourself.
Less “What’s wrong with me?” More “Interesting… what’s happening here?”

Because healing isn’t about becoming perfect.
It’s about becoming more fully you, without all those old survival strategies running the meeting.

And honestly… healing without a little humor is just another form of perfectionism. 😉
