When you wanna know what love (really) is 💖✨
So there we were, scrolling through life, asking everyone:
- “Can you give me love?”
- “Will you love me enough to make my coffee just right?” ☕
- “How long are you staying?”
- “Will anybody deserve your love more than I do?”
- “Can you fix my mood if it breaks before lunch?”
- “Will you validate my choices so I can finally relax?”
- “Do you see all my potential, or just my mistakes?” 👀
- “Will you carry my emotional baggage for a while?”
- “Can you love me even when I forget to love myself?”
Then a truth bomb: don’t outsource your heart like a bad Amazon order: “Sweetheart, the universe doesn’t deliver love to your doorstep. Stop building emotional IKEA furniture and actually open the box inside you.” 📦💫
And then we start noticing all the sneaky ways we’ve been blocking our own love signal:
- Comparing ourselves to everyone else’s Instagram highlight reel, forgetting that filters and angles hide the full story.
- Seeking validation like we’re auditioning for a cosmic talent show, hoping someone else’s applause will fill our own emptiness.
- Handing out criticism and intolerance like candy on Halloween, not realizing it boomerangs back to our own hearts.
- Repeating old patterns, clinging to limiting beliefs, and forgetting to shower ourselves with love💛.
- Giving others the responsibility to make us feel accepted, loved, supported, and happy, as if our joy is someone else’s job.
- Chasing perfection in a world that thrives on imperfection, exhausting ourselves trying to match illusions.
- Ignoring our own needs while overextending to please everyone else, losing sight of what truly nourishes us.
- Obsessing over the “what ifs” and “should haves”, instead of embracing the present moment where life actually happens.
- Forgetting that true happiness is a garden we cultivate within ourselves, not a gift we receive from others.
The more we tried to get love externally, the more our Wi-Fi signal to the universe… lagged.
Love wasn’t on our timeline.
It was inside us, waiting for us to remove the filters, tear down the walls, and empty the emotional spam folder. 🗑️💌The universe is waiting. And honestly… it has a killer sense of humor. 😏✨😁
