Your Mind Has Tabs Open. Your Instinct Has Answers

In the spiritual gym of life, we talk a lot about mindset.
Affirm it. Reframe it. Optimize it. Give it a green juice and a standing ovation.
And yes, the mind is brilliant. A beautiful, overachieving intern with seventeen open tabs and a mild caffeine dependency.

But here is the quiet truth many of us eventually discover:
The best decisions rarely come from overthinking.
And if you have ever tried to think your way into peace, you know how that goes.
Your mind says: “Let us carefully analyze this feeling.”
Your instinct says: “Or… hear me out… we just leave the group chat.”

We often treat intuition like that quiet friend at dinner.
You know the one. Soft voice. Wise eyes. Rarely interrupts.
Meanwhile the mind is building PowerPoint slides about Worst Case Scenarios™.

But instinct? Instinct is fast. Clean. Unbothered.
It does not need a committee meeting.
It does not require a 47 step pros and cons list.
It definitely does not open Excel.
      It just knows.

I have noticed something in my own journey:
The mind loves control.▶️ Instinct loves truth.
The mind asks:“What if this goes wrong?” ▶️ Instinct whispers: “This way.”
The mind is loud during fear. ▶️ Instinct is steady during clarity.

And no, this does not mean we throw our brains out the window and start making life decisions based on which crystal winked at us first. Let us stay spiritually hydrated and slightly reasonable.
💥It means learning the sacred art of pause… and listening beneath the mental noise.
Because very often, the body already voted. The heart already knows. The nervous system already filed the paperwork. ⏰ The mind is just… fashionably late to the meeting.

There is a quiet intelligence in all of us.
Not dramatic. Not loud. Not wearing sequins.
      Just present. Clear. Ready.
So the next time your mind starts writing a 12 episode documentary about everything that could go wrong… Pause. Breathe.

      And gently ask:
“Is this fear talking… or is this my instinct pointing the way?”

Your peace will usually answer first.
And unlike the mind, it rarely needs WiFi. 😉
