Hello and namaste! My name is Joe Ritter. I’m a musician, meditation teacher, and therapeutic sound practitioner based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. I am the founder of Rhythmic Alchemy, my private practice for meditation mentorship and vibrational sound therapy. I also work extensively in my community offering sound baths for groups at yoga studios and athletic clubs.

My journey as a holistic practitioner began in 2019. After experiencing the death of my father, I came to the realization that I was unhappy with my career and trajectory in life. I felt backed into a corner and trapped in an unhealthy lifestyle that I had never asked for. On advice from a therapist, I made a commitment to start a meditation practice and watched my life turn around as a result.

Daily meditation, specifically techniques involving sound and vibration, helped me create a container for my own healing. This was surprising at first, but though my practice I realized that I’ve been connected to music my entire life. These methods simply made sense to me, in a way that felt intrinsically aligned. Eventually, I was able to break free from my role as an executive chef and my direction forward became clear. My purpose in this lifetime is to help others come back to themselves and make healthy changes that are sustainable and aligned with purpose. I do this by sharing the magic of daily meditative practices and the power of sound as medicine.

My style reflects a holistic vision of wellness where music, modern science, and ancient tradition converge to support personal transformation and real growth. I’m certified through Chopra Global to teach both meditation and Ayurvedic health. I’m a 200-hr sound practitioner and a member of the International Sound Therapy Association. I’m also completing my on-the-body certification with the Vibrational Sound Association, graduating in October 2025. I feel eternally grateful and privileged to be a steward of this ancient knowledge.
