Anxiety… The Body’s Alarm Bell of Unhealed Truth…
It’s a messenger. A mirror. A map.
And when it shows up, it’s not trying to punish you.
It’s trying to get your attention.
What Is Anxiety, Really?
Mainstream says… “Chemical imbalance.”
Holistic truth… Your nervous system is firing in defense of something that hasn’t been resolved.
Anxiety is your inner child screaming, your body holding the memory of a moment you couldn’t process…
and now, anything that feels like that memory triggers the same biological panic, even when there’s no real danger.
The Mirror of Anxiety…
Whenever anxiety flares, you are being given a mirror
“Where have I felt unsafe before?”
“What part of me is still carrying fear, abandonment, or betrayal?”
“What story is looping in the background of my mind?”
It’s not the event that causes anxiety, it’s the story the nervous system is still telling itself.
Often rooted in moments where you were…
Ignored when you needed comfort
Punished for having emotions
Made responsible for someone else’s chaos
Left to figure it out alone
Anxiety is Not in Your Head, It’s Stored in Your Body
It’s the muscle memory of fear.
The breath that never deepens.
The constant scanning for danger, approval, or rejection.
And here’s the wild part…
Anxiety doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.
It means something is ready to be seen.
The Invitation…Transmute It, Don’t Fight It
When anxiety shows up…
Pause. Breathe. Ask…
“What are you showing me that I’ve ignored?”
Name the emotion underneath
Most anxiety is grief, fear, or anger wearing a mask.
Bring love to the memory…
“That version of me was scared. But I’m safe now.”
Move it through…
Shaking
Breathwork
Vocal release
EFT tapping
Inner child dialogue
Reframe the Narrative
Instead of…
“I’m broken. Why do I feel this way?”
Try…
“Something within me is rising to be healed. I’m ready to listen.”
Reminder…
You are not anxious.
You are a soul being asked to hold space for a version of yourself that once felt helpless.
Healing anxiety isn’t about silencing the alarm
It’s about rescuing the part of you that’s still stuck in the fire.
