• What are you longing to receive?

Years ago, during one of the hardest seasons of my life, a family message landed sharp and fast. My first impulse was to armor up and fire back. Instead, I stepped outside to the pasture, put a hand on my heart, and let the horses’ breath slow mine. I whispered, “May I send what I want to receive.”

I wrote a different reply—clear, warm, and boundaried. No perfect words, just love with a backbone. The echo didn’t come overnight, but it did come: a soft apology months later, a brave conversation, a door cracked open for repair.

Life really is an echo. The days I sow patience, I reap ease. When I choose to see the good, I meet it more often. When I radiate love—especially when it’s hard—love finds its way back to me in the most unexpected forms.

If today gives you a chance to send something out, let it be what you’re longing to receive.

I love how you put this — “learning to respond rather than react” really is such a central part of awakening, isn’t it? That pause, that breath, that choice to come from the heart instead of old survival patterns… it changes everything over time.

Thank you for your kind words about my posts here on the Forum. I feel really honored that what I share resonates with you, and I’m equally grateful for the wisdom and tenderness you bring to this community.
