Northern Lights
One night not long ago, I stepped outside at the Sanctuary and the sky quite literally took my breath away.
The northern lights were dancing—soft ribbons of color unfurling across a blanket of stars. For a moment I just stood there, frozen in place, feeling very small and somehow deeply held at the same time. The air was cool on my cheeks, my feet grounded to the earth, my heart stretching toward the sky.
As I watched the lights shimmer and shift, a quiet thought rose up inside me: “If the universe can paint beauty like this out of charged particles and magnetic fields… what might be possible inside of me?”
All the dreams that have felt “too big,” all the next steps that seemed out of reach, suddenly felt a little closer. The same intelligence that spins galaxies and choreographs auroras is the one that beats in our chests. We forget that sometimes.
If you’ve been doubting yourself, wondering if your hopes are unrealistic or your timing is off, maybe this is your reminder: the stars may seem distant, but you are made of the same stardust. There is more power, creativity, and courage within you than you’ve dared to imagine.
Take a breath with me.
Feel your feet on the ground, your heart in your chest.
What’s one small “star” you’re ready to reach for next?I’m cheering you on from under this beautiful northern sky.
