• Merry Christmas Eve!

Some evenings at the Sanctuary, the sky does the talking for me.

On this night, I stepped outside with a full mind—little worries, big questions, a few fresh “stumbling blocks” that felt more like brick walls. And then I looked up. The horizon was painted in layers of gold, pink, and violet, as if the day itself were whispering, “There’s more happening here than you can see.”

As I watched the colors slowly shift and soften, my breath began to lengthen. The tightness in my chest eased. I thought about all the times life hasn’t gone “according to plan”—the losses, the detours, the doors that closed when I was sure they were supposed to open. From the middle, those moments felt like failure. But looking back, I can see how each one redirected me toward something truer: deeper healing, richer relationships, work that feels aligned with my soul.

The sunset reminded me that endings and obstacles often carry hidden beauty. They invite us to pause, to listen more closely, to trust that there is a larger story being written with our lives.

If you’re facing a hard turn in your path right now, maybe this sky can hold you the way it held me. Take a breath. Soften your shoulders. Ask gently, “What if this stumbling block is actually a stepping stone?”

You may not see the full picture yet—but the colors are already gathering on your horizon.
