Courage
Sometimes the bravest thing a person can do is simply begin.
At the sanctuary, I often witness quiet moments like this one—where a client softens into the presence of a horse and something unspoken begins to shift. There are journeys we take with words, and there are journeys we take with the heart. Horses have a beautiful way of meeting us where we are, without judgment, without pressure, and without the need to explain.
In this moment, I saw courage. Not loud courage, but the kind that takes the first step toward healing, trust, and something new. So often, what feels impossible is not the path itself, but allowing ourselves to begin.
And once we do, life has a way of meeting us there.
