• Remembering Who We Are

When Lacy moved through the opportunity course with a client at the sanctuary, she had such a beautiful way of showing what became possible when trust began to grow.

As I stood beside the client, guiding her through the course with Lacy, I was reminded that healing was often less about forcing a breakthrough and more about taking the next right step. The tarp, the poles, the unfamiliar moments along the way—each one became an invitation to pause, listen, and discover the strength that was already within.

Lacy was so present in this work. She didn’t rush ahead. She responded to energy, intention, and relationship. And in that sacred process, clients often began to see that what felt challenging in the outer world could become a mirror for what was ready to shift inside.

This was one of the things I loved most about the sanctuary. Watching a woman realize that she already carried the wisdom, courage, and capacity she needed was always profound. Sometimes all it took was one horse, one moment, and one opportunity to remember who she truly was.
