An Invitation to Meet Fear Differently….
Fear isn’t bad.
It’s not something to overcome or silence.
It’s not something we need to “push through.”
It’s an undercurrent—one many of us have been taught to avoid. But what if fear is a gateway?
What if, instead of something to fix, fear is something to befriend—
a messenger guiding us toward what’s unhealed, unspoken, and waiting to be held with compassion? In my own journey and in the healing work I share with others, I’ve learned this:
To experience true peace and empowerment, we must heal what we’re afraid of.
When we ignore fear, it doesn’t go away—it just changes form.
It can pull us into the patterns of the Drama Triangle:
Rescuer. Victim. Persecutor.
Or hide behind the masks we wear to feel safe. But when we turn toward fear and really listen—
it becomes a wise teacher.
It shows us what still needs care, what’s asking to be seen, and where our power has been waiting. This short video is a window into that process—a glimpse inside the workshops I lead where we explore the emotional root of patterns like this.

This is an invitation. Not to fight fear—but to honor it.
To meet it with presence, not performance.
To let it show you the path inward.Reflection prompt:
Where has fear been speaking in your life—and what might shift if you listened?Katia Costa, Bridget Spees and Victoria-
When fear rises… who do you become?
▪️ The Rescuer, who needs to fix in order to feel safe
▪️ The Victim, who collapses under the weight of being unseen
▪️ The Persecutor, who controls or criticizes to avoid being hurt-
For me, as I mention in the video, I slide right into the comfort of the Helper/Rescuer!
