I’m Brandy Nielson, B.Msc. — an Ordained Minister, Registered Metaphysical Counselor, Shamanic Practitioner, and the founder of The Higher Self Method®️.

But more than the titles, I’m someone who knows what it feels like to carry the weight of trauma, self-doubt, and overwhelming emotions while still trying to show up for family, work, and life. I know how frustrating it can feel when patterns like people-pleasing, anxiety, or burnout keep repeating no matter how much “work” you’ve done. What I want you to know is this: it’s not weakness. It’s your nervous system doing its best to protect you.

For over 30 years, I’ve guided people through trauma recovery, identity shifts, relational challenges, and burnout. My work blends counseling, neuroscience, subconscious reprogramming, energy medicine, and cross-cultural healing traditions. The heart of it is simple: helping you uncover the subconscious roots of your patterns and release them safely — without having to relive old wounds.

That’s why I created The Higher Self Method®️: an integrative, evidence-informed approach that works with both the conscious and subconscious mind, while holding you in a compassionate, client-centered space. My mission is to help you feel relief, clarity, and reconnection to yourself in a way that’s grounded and lasting.

As an Ordained Minister, I also hold the privilege of officiating weddings, vow renewals, and sacred ceremonies — moments of deep reverence and spirit that honor life’s most meaningful thresholds.

At the core of all I do is this truth: healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you are, reclaiming your voice, and returning home to yourself.
