Word of the year: DISCERNMENT❤️✨

So here’s a little “AI scam” story from my recent adventures in the wild world of online dating.🙈

I set up a profile just to test the waters, and sure enough, I stumbled upon someone who seemed too good to be true.

Spoiler: He was.💥

This “sales manager”, single dad, with a magazine-cover smile claimed he’d just moved to Slovenia for business.

He named the company (which actually exists), a place he was staying (which also exist) and started sending me photos from his personal life (that i didn’t even ask for).

He was not acting as a common “dating app creep”. There was no “Hey check out my 🍆” or other uncomfortable topics. He was very sophisticated and nice.

We had a smooth chat, eventually exchange whatsapp numbers, and yet every instinct in me said,

“This is too perfect.”

I simply knew something was off.

But i was playing along, because I was kind of curious how far it can go.

His texts and photos and videos) were a little too polished (single and probably non-single cougars🐯 would go wild on TikTok or IG if he would show up there😃), his story had those AI-esque vibes, and when I suggested a simple video call, he dodged like a pro.

Not only that. Sometimes I have asked the same questions that I knew will confuse him and sure enough, he gave me different answers – 10 line answer in 0,5 second.😵‍💫

I knew my bullshit radar wasn’t lying.🥷

Long story short: he was either a bot or someone leaning heavily on AI to catfish.

I blocked him, deleted chat, and moved on with a little smirk. Oh yeah. And btw, you are not gonna find my profile on dating app anymore.🙂

After this “incident” I actually got a call from “his” number around midnight (2 nights in a row) but I just ignored it.

Why am I sharing this?

Because whether you’re navigating dating apps or business deals, the same rule applies: trust your gut, use your discernment, and stay connected to your heart.

Not everything that shines is gold – or a real human.
