How to Stay Sane When People Keep Being… People

(Simple truths to the ones who think they know it all)

      1️⃣We’ll NEVER truly understand others.

(Heck, half the time we don’t even understand ourselves. I’ve spent years trying to decode my own “what do you want to eat?” moments.)
And nobody will ever fully understand us.
So, stop asking Why’s. Just observe, Words lie. Evidences don’t.

      2️⃣We can’t change others.

If we could, the world would be full of emotionally evolved exes, coworkers who actually reply to emails, and parents who don’t call exactly when you’re busy.

      3️⃣Nobody can change us.

Change is an inside job powered by will, not Wi-Fi.
Sure, sometimes pain or chaos gives us a push, but that’s usually because, well… some of us only move when life sets off the fire alarm.

4️⃣We don’t own the truth about others.

Everyone’s starring in their own movie, and we’re just the blurry background character holding a latte, wondering what scene we just walked into.

5️⃣So maybe it’s time to stop judging.

And stop caring so much about being judged.
It’s exhausting, and let’s be honest, we could use that energy for better things like healing, laughing, or rewatching a show where someone else (our ourselves) makes bad decisions.

Because really, what do we win from other people’s validation?
👀A five-second ego boost that disappears faster than our phone battery.

And what do we gain from criticizing others?
👀A fake sense of “winning” a fight nobody asked us to start.

At the end of the day, life’s simpler than it looks:

❣️Accept people as they are… or gracefully move your body, mind, and snacks somewhere that feels more like peace.☺️

      Final note:
      The magic words are simple:

      • ACCEPT when it comes to others, and
      • GROW (or choose better) when it comes to ourselves.
