Some transformations happen in circles, not straight lines.

This is my older brother and me. We haven’t always seen eye to eye. We grew up with different roles, carried different stories, and for a long time our conversations could spark more heat than light. But we kept showing up—messy, honest, learning as we went.

What changed everything wasn’t a grand breakthrough; it was a string of small, conscious choices:

* listening to understand, not to win
* pausing when our nervous systems got loud
* naming needs and repairing when we missed each other
* adding humor, warmth, and a fresh start… again and again

That’s the power of conscious relationship. It accelerates growth because love becomes a practice, not a performance. I’m grateful for this man, for the history we’ve lived, and for the new story we’re writing—one conversation, one shared smile at a time.
