• How do you talk to yourself?

I used to be my own harshest critic. The mirror felt like a measuring stick—never quite enough. Life got so much lighter when I chose a different relationship with myself: best friend instead of bully.

      My practice is simple:
hand on heart, soften my shoulders, three slow breaths… then I ask,
      “What do you need, love?”
Sometimes it’s water. Sometimes it’s a walk with the Herd. Sometimes it’s a boundary or a nap or a brave conversation. Every time I respond with kindness, my life gets easier—and truer.

If you need the reminder today: you are worthy of your own gentleness. Talk to yourself the way you would to a dear friend. Your nervous system (and your future) will thank you.

What’s one small kindness you can offer yourself right now?
