Tips to Calm the Mind — Reiki’s Gentle Support for Anxiety
In times of stress or anxiety, the nervous system needs safety, not pressure.
Reiki offers gentle support by helping the body return to balance and presence.
Here are a few simple ways Reiki can support calming the mind and easing inner tension — alongside breath, awareness, and self-care.

✨ Simple Reiki Tips to Calm the Mind
1. Heart–Belly Hold (3–5 minutes)
One hand on the heart, one on the lower belly.
Breathe slowly and allow the body to settle.
2. Grounding Through the Feet
Feel your feet on the floor.
Imagine Reiki flowing downward, anchoring you in the present moment.
3. Gentle Head Placement
Place hands lightly on the sides or back of the head.
This can soften mental tension and quiet racing thoughts.
4. Longer Exhale Breathing
Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6.
Longer exhales help calm the nervous system.
5. Consistency Over Intensity
Even a few minutes daily can be deeply regulating.
Reiki works through regular, gentle presence.
