This is what my heart looks like at Christmas.

Not the wrapped gifts or the pretty lights (though I love those too), but “this”—a room full of people I love, grandkids on laps and the beautiful chaos of different stories all held in one family.

We’ve walked through so much together over the years… joy and heartbreak, new beginnings and deep goodbyes. And yet here we are, gathered around the tree, reminded again that the greatest gift isn’t something under it—it’s the love we get to share because of the One who came as Love in person.

This year I’m especially grateful for:
Laughter that bubbles up out of nowhere
Little hands reaching for mine
Adult kids who still come home and fill the house with life
A God who meets us in every season and keeps weaving grace through our story
