I love trail rides...
There’s something about a trail ride with good friends that feels like therapy… without a single word needing to be said.
This day, it was me, Ruth, and Kelly—wide-open country, steady horses, dust rising behind us, and that quiet rhythm under the saddle that helps my whole nervous system remember: Oh… this is what “okay” feels like.
As we rode, I kept thinking about this truth:
“How I love myself is how I teach others to love me.”
Not by what I say… but by what I allow.
By the pace I keep.
By the way I listen to my body.
By the people I choose to share the trail with.Ruth and Kelly are the kind of friends who make space for the real me. No performance. No pretending. Just steady presence, shared laughter, and that unspoken understanding of “I’ve got you.” And of course, the horses… they amplify it all. They meet us exactly where we are and invite us back into truth.
Today I’m grateful for:
open trails and brave horses
friendship that feels safe and grounding
room to breathe and be myself
the reminder that self-love is embodied—lived in the way I care for my heart and the company I keepWho are the people who help you come home to yourself?

Love this question!!
The people who help me come home to myself are my cherished, likeminded soul family.♥️
I also feel deeply connected to individuals on their own spiritual journeys and find peace, purpose and friendship within the two spiritual communities to which I belong.✨
Thank you for this post, Gloria!🙏♥️🐴

@Tori, yes. 💛 I love this—there’s nothing like soul family and spiritual community to help us come home to ourselves. ✨
Thank you for sharing. What is it about those communities that feels most “at home” for you? 🤍1-
Excellent question!
I thought this would be easy for me to answer but that’s not the case. I do know that the deeper I go on this spiritual journey, the more I enjoy and appreciate my life and the people in it.
I feel much more at home within spiritual communities which really comes down to Believing, and Connection with Spirit, at least to me.
And being surrounded by people who understand exactly what that means is profoundly important to me.✨
Thank you, Gloria!🙏♥️

@Tori this is so beautifully said. ✨ And I love the way you’re pointing to something deeper than beliefs—more like Truth… a lived connection with Spirit, a resonance you feel in your whole being. 🤍
When you’re in community with people who recognize that, it’s like your nervous system can exhale… “I don’t have to translate myself here.”
Thank you for sharing this—it’s a powerful reflection. 🙏♥️1
