Everything that's out of our control should be out of our mind
Read that again.
Slowly.
Like you’re uninstalling an app called Overthinking Pro Max.We spend so much mental energy trying to micromanage weather forecasts, other people’s opinions, traffic, algorithms, and whether Karen understood our tone in that email.
Meanwhile, our brain is just doing its ancient job:
It works with old inputs. Old stories. Old survival manuals. Same stress. No peace.
Its main mission?
“Keep us alive. Use what worked before. Avoid lions. Avoid embarrassment. Avoid uncertainty.”
Brilliant for caves. Slightly dramatic for LinkedIn.The mind pulls files from the past and says,
“Last time this happened, it was chaos. Let’s panic early.”
But here’s the twist: nothing new is created from old software.
If we want a new peaceful and happy chapter, we cannot keep rereading the same paragraph. We need something beyond recycled fear.
Something that helps us face the unknown without turning it into a horror movie trailer.
That something is trust.
Intuition. The quiet voice under the mental noise.
Your heart does not scream. It nudges.
It whispers, “Go.”It says, “Try.”It says, “You’ll learn.”Peace is not controlling everything.
Peace is releasing what was never yours to control and choosing to feel your way forward anyway.
Let the uncontrollable stay outside.
Let your mind rest. (Only peace allows that!)
Let your intuition lead.
Less mental traffic.
More inner GPS. 🧭✨Emerson K. and Victoria2 Comments-
