• I have seen fear soften in the presence of a horse.

      Not because the fear was forced away.
      Not because someone was told to be brave.
      But because something honest and steady met them there.

      The horses teach this so beautifully: courage is not the absence of fear. It is the willingness to stay present in the middle of it. To breathe. To listen. To trust what your body knows when your mind is still catching up.

      So much healing begins in that moment.

      When we stop running from what feels uncomfortable…
      when we allow ourselves to be met…
      when we discover that maybe we are stronger, wiser, and more supported than we thought.

      That kind of courage changes everything.
