Therefore, the nation that heals its relationship with the soil thrives!

So, come with me over the next 6 days and I’ll show you ways to reconnect with the land you live on. To rebuild a deep connection with it. To be healed by it. To begin the wondrous journey that is right relationship with the soil beneath your feet, the wind in your hair, and the water in your ears.

This photo was taken in Scotland, and it’s not the land where I grew up or where my ancestors came from (although many of them were from Ireland and England). However, it was a place where I felt especially connected with the nature around me. I was very grateful indeed for that experience, because I learned a lot from the wild mountains and moors of Scotland.

If you are fortunate enough to live where your ancestors or your people came from, that’s an enormous gift. However, connection to place, seasons cycles can be carried with you wherever you go. Respect and reciprocity can move where you move.

It’s time for all of us to reclaim a nourishing, respectful and loving relationship with the land we live on.
